Administrative Board Meeting Recap

Meeting from Jan. 25th, 2009

• We revisited issues about changing the sanctuary doors and the lights. 2 committees were formed to address each issue and bring a suggestion before the board again in April.
• A committee was formed in order to look at options for expanding the fellowship hall.
• The church basement flooding was discussed, and the trustees were meeting with a contractor to discuss options this week.
• A church retreat was proposed for April 3-5th at Camp Alpine. A sign-up sheet is in the back of the sanctuary and fellowship hall. This will be up for 1 more week. 30 people minimum must sign up for this to come to fruition. More information about this retreat will be posted later, and Ian will say more about it this sunday. if there are any questions, please let him know.
• Suzy volunteered to start this blog as well as sign up St. Paul for a Myspace as well as a group for facebook. The Myspace is www.myspace.com/stpaul_fortpayne
• We are using the blog to gauge whether or not to invest in creating an actual web page. Please let someone know if you see this blog, myspace, facebook, etc. There are no counters, so we have no way to trace how many people actually visit this. Thanks!
• Next Board meeting will be in April.
